Tappeh Silk near Kashan
Around 4,500 years ago, people from an interesting civilization settled here; their tools were made of bones and stones.
It is possible that previous residents were defeated here by their successors. Elamite clay tablets have been found and, due to connections with the civilization of ancient Elam in Susa, people learned to write here around 5,500 years ago.
As a result, several clay tablets with ancient Elamite writing became traces of this era. Finds from a cemetery located between two small hills are attributed to the newly immigrated residents of Tappeh Sialk. They show a strong similarity to finds from Tappeh Giyan near Nahavand and from Khordin near Savoj Bollaq in Fars Province
